I was brought up by my father based on the morals value from the Depression era. " Don't waste anything: respect other people and the environment". Growing up with one of the world's most valuable resources, I told myself, there will be a day when we are able to harvest the best of what we already have, namely natural timber and preserve them for the future generations to come.

Out of the many raw materials available today, timber stands out as one of the very few renewable resources. Reducing materials used in the process & ultimately being less wasteful will be in sync to protect the environment. We need to think globally & making sure that our assumptions reflect reality. Thus using the tecnique of finger jointing & lamination could further foster the ultimate usage of timber without failing on the quality.

With the very words above from my father still reverberating in my ears, and my team. I believe that I have managed to put it into good practice & fulfill my promises to him and myself.
